Bringing together a diverse pool of talent around a single shared table, our company is built on an open, ongoing conversation. Founded in 1992 by Trey Trahan, the firm is intimate in size but broad in its scope. We engage in a collective questioning of how our process and work can contribute to the health of our ecologies, cities, and economies. Each member of the Trahan team is an integral part of a collaborative process that enriches our company culture and improves the quality of our work.

Team
Liza Feoli
Liza is a strategist who possesses a deep passion for the fusion of art, architecture, and ecology within the AEC industry. With over a decade of experience in strategic roles, she has dedicated her expertise to driving marketing, business development, and communications initiatives for private and public projects that hold cultural significance, including the unveiling of expansive art institutions to the creation of intimate civic parks. Liza’s mastery extends to driving marketing and business development strategies that operate seamlessly at both macro and micro levels. She collaborates closely with executives and leadership to effectively position, cultivate, and enhance brand and firm awareness within targeted sectors.
Prior to assuming her current role as the Director of Marketing & Strategy for Trahan Architects, Liza spearheaded marketing and business development efforts for STUDIOS Architecture’s Washington DC office. During her tenure, she positioned the firm to secure prestigious design opportunities with cultural, civic, institutional, hospitality, and developer clients. Notable projects she contributed to include the revitalization of Howard University’s historic Bond Bread/WRECO redevelopment project, the modernization of Washington, DC’s historic Fort Lincoln Park, and JP Morgan’s Mid-Atlantic Headquarters. Additionally, as an active member of the Communications Committee, Liza played a crucial role in formulating a comprehensive strategic plan, advising the Board of Directors on firm-wide marketing initiatives across six offices and a workforce of over 300 employees.
Before venturing into the realm of architecture, Liza obtained a Master’s degree in Art Business from Sotheby’s in New York. Her career initially led her to editorial and public relations positions within the fine arts sector, where she authored numerous articles for Art+Auction magazine, delving into the state of the global art market. Liza’s time at Polskin Arts further honed her skills in developing strategic communication plans and the art of storytelling for esteemed international art and cultural clients, including the Fondation Louis Vuitton, The Shed, the Australian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, and the Elbphilharmonie.
Hailing from New England, Liza’s professional journey has introduced her to experiences in Boston, New York, Washington DC, and New Orleans. These varied locales have profoundly broadened and shaped her understanding of the AEC industry as a whole, cementing her expertise and commitment to advancing design.
