Bringing together a diverse pool of talent around a single shared table, our company is built on open, ongoing conversation. Founded in 1992 by Trey Trahan, the firm is intimate in size but broad in its scope. We engage in a collective questioning of how our process and work can contribute to the health of our ecologies, cities and economies. Each member of the Trahan team is an integral part of a collaborative process that enriches our company culture and improves the quality of our work.
Rebecca has a lifelong passion for making and craft at all scales. Originally from Virginia, she
earned her Bachelor of Fine Art from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008 concentrating on textile design and spatial sculpture. She has a strong interest in the emotive qualities of space making which led her to earn her Master of Architecture from the University of Tennessee in 2016 where she studied spatial design at multiple scales and advanced digital manufacturing. Rebecca’s thesis examined the disruption and advancement of domestic architectural typologies and earned her the Robert B. Church III Graduate Thesis Award and the AIA Henry Adams Medal. Prior to joining Trahan in 2020, Rebecca was with Wendell Burnette Architects in Phoenix, Arizona where she developed highly crafted architecture for local and international clients.
