Louisiana State University Tiger Park

Designed as the premier collegiate softball stadium and training complex, Trahan Architects’ stadium for the LSU softball team was conceptualized as an ensemble of masonry pavilions set in a sculpted landscape. A series of arcing vectors organize the stadium’s built and landform elements – including seating for 1,200, the building, its concourse, grass berms, and circulation – and focus the entire complex on the center of action. The program also includes press, concessions, retail and a team clubhouse.

“There’s no question that this stadium will have the most character of any stadium in the country—the berm, the location, the arches, the architecture— it’s phenomenal. I couldn’t be prouder of it. The new Tiger Park is going to be a jewel in the realm of college softball.”
