Emerging Trends in Real Estate: The Future of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome

ULI Louisiana is excited to announce that our lunchtime keynote will feature Trey Trahan, of Trahan Architects, about the future renovation plans for the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The Mercedes-Benz Superdome is arguably the state’s most recognizable landmark. Shortly after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Trahan Architects was selected to be the lead architect and managing partner of the team that restored the iconic Superdome on an accelerated schedule, allowing it to reopen on September 25, 2006, under budget and ahead of schedule. Fast forward to 2021, Trahan Architects is now leading a multi-phase major renovation of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome that includes the design of spacious atriums that will eventually replace the current ramp system, as well as improved concourses to accommodate vendors and field-level end zone boxes.
