Max Park is a New York State Registered Architect from Seoul, Korea with 10+ of experience developing projects in New York City. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Prior to joining Trahan Architects, he worked at ODA and Leroy Street Studio, where he contributed to and led projects across a wide range of typologies from concept design through construction administration. His experience spans conceptual development, technical coordination, documentation, and project delivery, with a focus on conceptual design and translating design intent into built form.

Growing up in Seoul and Vancouver, and later studying and practicing in the United States, has shaped Max’s interest in the relationship between architecture, culture, and place. Influenced by the materiality of architecture and its ability to create a sense of place, he seeks to design spaces that are grounded in their context and responsive to the people and cultures they serve.

His architectural approach is informed by the poetics of space and the craft of construction, exploring how material, light, scale, and detail shape the experience of a place. His early experience in a design-build studio fostered an interest in the relationship between design and making and shaped his belief in architecture as a collaborative practice that can bring people and communities together.
